ما أن تسمع أسمه و مهنته كمديرا لجهاز شئون السودانيين العاملين بالخارج لولاية الجزيرة حتي تسري الرهبة في أعضاؤك و تظن أنه رجل صلب صعب الوصول اليه و محال الدخول الي مكتبه ... تتخيل مملؤ بعنجهية السلطة وفرعنة المسؤلين أبوابه الموصدة دائما و السكرتيرة الحسناء التي تقابلك بنصف إبتسامه و عيون ساهمة سارحة ووجه يتمني أن تنصرف فتقول لك بلهجة متعجلة ... المدير في إجتماع ... إلا أنك تتفأجاء بهذا الرجل الضخم الذي يفيض بشرا و رحابة ... هذا الانسان الفاضل الذي ينضح أدبا و جمالا ... هذا الاخ الذي يقابلك هاشا باشا حافي القدمين ولا يهدأ له بال ولا يجلس في كرسيه إلا بعد أن يعطيك ما عنده و زيادة ... رجل تجده في كل المحافل المدناوية ... مشاركا أهلها أفراحهم و أتراحهم ... تجده في كل بيت و ناصية كل حي ... ليزور الاخوان و الاصدقاء و تلقاه في المستشفيات لعيد المرضي و يجلس علي أحوالهم ... أما في عرينة جهاز المغتربين فتجد دائما باب مكتبه مفتوحا ... كريما شهما أخو أخوان لايفتأ يسهل إجراءات الطيور المهاجرة فيعفي هذا و يؤجل الي هذا و يسرع إجراءات هذا ... فهو كالنحله دائما يجد المغتربين عسلها حاضرا جدا ... <o:p></o:p>


هو رجل مجتمع أحب مدني و اهلها لدرجة العشق و إنصهر معهم لدرجة الوله ... فصار وآحدا منها يبادلها حبا بحب و برا ببر و من حبه لام المدائن سمعته حالفا أنه لن يغادر هذه المدينة الأنثي المتدثرة بالازرق الرقراق و التي طاب له المقام فيها يقول لن يتركها إن تركته الوظيفة و سيجلس في حضن المدينة ولو كان بائعا للبصل في سوقها ... <o:p></o:p>


ما أحتجنا الي دعم مادي أو معنوي أو لوجستي في المنتدي إلا و كان أول من يتبادر الي الذاكرة نقصده حياري فنخرج منه جميلين سعيدين حتي يغازلنا الناس في الشوارع ... ما قصدناه إلا و كان قد القصد ولا إحتجنا له في قضاء أمر من أمور المدينة إلا و كان بادئا و خاتما له ... نجلس في مكتبه الوثير نناقش معه هموم المدينة و مجتمعها و نطرح ما ينقصها فيبادر بالمال و الراي و المشورة الحسنه ...<o:p></o:p>

ما طرقنا عملا للخير إلا ووجدناه متربعا متحكرا فيه كركن ركين ... و ما ودعنا عزيز في مقابر المدينة إلا ووجدناه حضورا باكر ... <o:p></o:p>
هو إبن المدينة يحبها و تحبة و يبرها و تقدره ... أخ لكل الناس ... حلو المعشر دائم الابتسامة

رغم أنه حضر لها قريباً وفي مهمة عملية
حكى أنه عندما تم تعيينه في مدينة ودمدني
كان يتهيب ذلك ولكنه عندما حضر أحبها
فله التحيه ونبادله حباً بحب.
